Applied Marketing Management- Fall 2025

Students analyze marketing problems and develop marketing solutions to real-world situations. This course provides students with an opportunity to apply their marketing knowledge to a real client such as your own organization. Much of the focus of this course is on marketing planning and clients will receive a complete marketing plan (including situation analysis, segmentation, targeting, positioning, marketing strategy and implementation plan) from student groups.
Innovation through Design Thinking
ADMS 4235
Senior undergraduate marketing students in New Product Management apply design thinking and market research to identify unmet consumer needs and develop tested product concepts. Acting as innovation consultants, they deliver insights and recommendations grounded in user-centered research. Partnering with our students gives organizations: Fresh, research-backed ideas for new products or services Deep consumer insights derived from interviews and empathy mapping Concept testing results from real users A clear, actionable business case to support product development or enhancement

Delivering Cybersecurity Solutions : July 3 - Aug 14

Are you seeking innovative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges while supporting the development of emerging talent? Collaborate with students from York University’s Cybersecurity program on a project-based experience tailored to your organizational needs. Project Overview Students will work on a customized cybersecurity project designed to address a specific challenge or opportunity within your organization. Possible project topics include, but are not limited to: Developing a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). Cyber risk assessment and mitigation strategies. Incident response and disaster recovery planning. Threat intelligence and vulnerability analysis. Security architecture and system hardening. Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks. Students will engage with your organization virtually using communication tools of your choice. They are available to contribute up to 39 hours from June 19th to August 14th , ensuring a focused and efficient collaboration.
